Venue:  The Old Course Hotel, St Andrew, Fife  KY16 9SP

Join 3* Michelin Chef Steven Doherty and Derek Johnstone, 2* Michelin Chef Russell Plowman and 1* Michelin Chef Graeme Cheevers for an inspiring masterclass at The Old Course Hotel on the 21st February 2023, kindly hosted and supported by Executive Chef Martin Hollis. The Masterclass is free to Colleges and Apprentices.

The event will finish at approximately 3.30pm, whilst mainly based on demonstration there will be opportunity for students to assist and be involved during the day.

MASTERCLASS

Michelin Star chefs will guide you through a variety of sea fish explaining sustainability, seasonality, skills and techniques required to deal with shellfish, flat fish and round fish.

INDUSTRY INSIGHTS, SUPPLIERS AND CAREER INFORMATION

After the demonstrations you will be introduced to industry experts and supplier representatives who will provide you with a wealth of interesting and inspiring information.

Notes for attendees:

  • Please wear your chef’s jackets if appropriate to your role

  • There will be a photographer present, so if anyone does not want to be photographed, please make us aware of that on the day. Photos will be used in MCGB publications and on social media.

  • Light refreshments and lunch will be provided at the Hotel

  • Please arrive at 9am for a 9.30am start

  • Parking is available at the Hotel
