Join us at North Herts College this October for an essential masterclass on chocolate work.
Join industry professionals for inspiring free masterclasses and a valuable Burnt Chef Project presentation at North Herts College on the 19th of October 2023!
10am to 11.30am - Morning Masterclass Award winning chocolatier Shona Sutherland will guide you through some technical chocolate making skills including cocoa butter decoration and snacking bars.
11.30am to 11.45am - Short break
11.45am to 12.30am - Morning Presentation The Burnt Chef Project representatives will talk about their precious support for mental health in the hospitality industry.
12.30pm to 1.30pm - Lunch
1.30 to 3pm - Afternoon Workshop Talented Kirstie of Kirstie Young Photography will lead you through an amazing phone photography workshop, so make sure your phones are charged up and at the ready! This workshop has proven very popular in the past!
Notes for attendees:
• Please wear your chefs’ jackets
• There will be a photographer present, so if anyone does not want to be photographed, please make us aware of that on the day. Photos will be used in MCGB publications and on social media.
• Recipes and notes from the day will be available to you to use in the future, and there is constant opportunity to ask questions during the masterclass and afterwards. You will be able to taste the items made.
• Please arrive at around 9.30/9.45am for starting at 10am for the masterclass.
• Parking at the front of the college is on a first come first served basis but there is plenty of parking in the sports facility’s carpark at the back of the college.
